We perish because we know not… #TLENews
Key and Peele had a hit with their East/West Bowl 3 video earlier in the week. During their Super Bowl special Friday night on Comedy Central, they took things a step further and hyperbolized the media relationships of Seahawks players Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch.
In the skit — which was presented as a running gag — Lynch and Sherman, played by the comedians, stand at a podium during a joint press conference. Sherman yells to the media about Oscar nominations for movies such as “Selma” and “The Lego Movie.”
Lynch, meanwhile, could only utter the phrase “biscuits and gravy” — in line with the real Seattle running back who spent an entire postgame in real life saying “I am thankful.’
At the end, there’s a payoff where “Marshawn” finally speaks his mind.
Check it out.
