The Lyrical Elitist

We perish because we know not… #TLENews

Flo FreeStyle

Chemical vanity no shadow of clarity where once cultivated roots soon dead,
Stripped of her beauty inside
replaced with lace front pride
black queens psychologically shed. Burgundy skin antique copper wisdom smeared with fear and neglect,
Identities so prevailing yet submissive
Captivating beauty so intricately simple
Stolen crown deceived like Eve don’t forget me she wept.
Sistah goddesses wearing the crowns of European creations who labeled our pedigree tasteless,
He pleads
She leads
May our warrior kings return to their thrones so we may follow and be healed from this mental enslavement.
Bold anointed kings take back your throne!
So we beautiful black queens can resume our position as the supportive neck of our uprising NOT the head of its household.
Bolder than bold playing the wrong role,
When I put on my crown he better be on his throne.
